How Rixbo Pos handles your data

This page explains how users can request the deletion of their account and associated data when using the Rixbo POS mobile application.

How to Request Account Deletion

Rixbo POS does not currently provide an in-app or website interface for deleting your account. Users can request deletion anytime by emailing our support team.

Email for account deletion:

support@rixbo.com

Please include the following details so we can verify your identity:

  • Your registered email address
  • Your business/shop name (if applicable)
  • Reason for deletion (optional)

Once we verify your request, your account and associated data will be permanently deleted.

Data That Will Be Deleted

The following information will be removed permanently:

  • Personal details (name, phone number, email)
  • Business/shop profile information
  • Account-related POS data
  • App usage data tied to your account
  • Authentication and login credentials

Note: All deletions are irreversible.

Data That May Be Retained

Certain information must be kept for legal, tax, and security reasons. This may include:

  • Historical transaction and invoice records
  • Tax and financial documentation
  • Fraud-prevention and security logs
  • Backup data (automatically deleted within 30–90 days)

This retained data will not be used for analytics or marketing.

Processing Timeline

  • Account deletion: within 7–30 business days
  • Backup removal: up to 90 days

You will receive a confirmation email after your deletion request is completed.
